what surprised you the most this year? honestly i am so surprised by how well my long-distance relationship is going. it is definitely hard and not 100% ideal for me, but it is going much much better than i anticipated

did you make any new friends? yes!! so many, both during my final semester of university and in SF
how did this year treat you in general? honestly 2018 was so good to me. 2017 was a year of hard changes and new experiences, 2018 also had some major life upheavals but i had seen them coming for a long time and was able to handle them really well. i am very proud of myself and am glad 2018 was good to me
what’s one thing that you hope will continue next year? i spent a lot of 2018 consciously trying to love myself more and have noticed that my life was much better as a result. so i hope that i will continue to try and love myself more each day
